In a build up to the International Yoga Day on June 21, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been tweeting a series of animated videos of himself posturing different Yoga asanas. In the latest tweet, PM Modi listed the multiple benefits of Surya Namaskar or the "sun salutation" pose.

In the step-by-step video, PM Modi's animated version is seen teaching the sun salutation pose in a room, wearing olive green track pants and a tangerine t-shirt. "Have you made Surya Namaskar a part of your routine?," PM Modi tweeted along with the video.

Started from June 5, PM Modi had started posting animated yoga videos in the build up to the International Yoga Day. More than 10 such videos have been shared so far since then.
Earlier, on June 8, PM Modi’s caricature version dressed in an orange T-shirt was seen performing the Ardha Chakrasana in a video he posted on Twitter. The video also shared the benefits of performing the particular asana. In a tweet, which was shared on his official account, he said, "Stronger back, better blood circulation and more. Know why practising Ardha Chakrasana is helpful. #YogaDay2019"

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform Yoga along with 18,000 people, including Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Ministers and senior officials of the state, will be joining the Yoga programme. Preparations are being done keeping the monsoon in mind, said Jharkhand Chief Secretary DK Tiwari. The residents of Ranchi are excited to perform Yoga with the Prime Minister.
