Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been targeting previous Akhilesh Yadav government over many issues in state. He has ordered detailed audit of tenders issued in previous government.
During this audit, issuance of Rs 9 crore for catching snakes in a park will be scrutinised. According to sources, many lacunas have come to the fore in Janeshwar Mishra park project. Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party government had bought boats worth Rs 20 lakhs each. Rs 14 lakhs was spent for grass and land maintenance.
The officials have informed that Yogi Adityanath has ordered audit into Janeshwar Mishra park project, construction of Jay Prakash Narayan International Center and expansion projects of Husinabad area of old Lucknow. There projects were started in diligence of Akhilesh Yadav.
Three different committees have been constituted for scrutiny of these three projects. As per reports, almost double the amount of cost has been spent on these projects.
