Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday made a statement on black money in Rajya Sabha. He even tore into Opposition for making negative claims against Narendra Modi government and questioned them for compromising national security.
Addressing the Parliament, Jaitley said, Uncertainty and volatility is the new normal globally. When you make comments on steps we are taking on black money, please honestly compare your track record.”
Talking about the list, he mentioned that it will be revealed only after a case is filed.
“People not disclosing black money will be strictly prohibited. Government considering amendments to Companies Act.”
He even showed concern on the global crisis by saying, “This is the time where we need co-operation of all parties, we're fighting serious global crisis, global trade is shrinking.”
Jaitley also made a statement on JNU row and said, “No one has anything against the particular student who was arrested.”
