Ghaziabad:
Body of a young woman was today found stuffed in a metallic box near the railway tracks here this morning, police said.
SHO Kavi Nagar Ashok Shisodia said some children ragpickers were rummaging through waste near the railway tracks at Naya Ghaziabad station when they found an abandoned metallic box lying behind the bushes.
They opened the box and discovered the body of a woman stuffed inside, Shisodia said.
The children then informed the police who took the body into their custody.
The woman seems to be married and aged about 25 years though her identity is yet to be established. The body has been sent for postmortem, he said.
