The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday criticised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his sit-in inside Lt Governor Anil Baijal’s office, saying the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi was “zero” in work and destroying the trust of people.
“Karne mein zero, dharne mein hero, Karna kuch nahi dharna sab kuch (Zero in work, hero in dharna. They don’t want to do anything and dharna is all for them.)’ This is their mindset, it is destroying the trust people of Delhi had put in them,” ANI quoted Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi as saying.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, along with his four cabinet colleagues were sitting on a dharna at Lt Governor Anil Baijal’s office waiting room since last Monday, demanding that he direct the Delhi IAS officials to end their “illegal strike” and approve a doorstep ration delivery scheme.

The IAS officials, however, denies being on strike and claimed that they were being used by the Delhi CM for “political reasons”.
“We have been targeted and victimised and told that we are working with someone. We would like to inform that we are not on strike. We are answerable only to the law and the Constitution,” Manisha Saxena of the IAS Association said in a press conference on Sunday.
“We all are in our offices doing our work, conducting inspections and everybody is working with utmost sincerity and dedication,” Saxena said.
The press conference of the IAS association came in wake of a protest march to the Prime Minister’s office by the Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday.
The protest march, which was carried out to “tell PM Modi that the Lt Governor appointed by him was not adhering to the Constitution and law,” was stopped midway by the Delhi Police.
