Congress MLA Tanveer Sait was attacked by a youth using a sharp object during while attending a wedding ceremony in Mysore. Sait sustained injuries on neck. According to reports, the MLA was immediately rushed to a private hospital where he underwent a surgery. The attacker - a 24-year-old young man named Farhan - has been arrested. Tanveer Sait, former Karnataka Minister, was attacked late night on Monday. The event was captured by cameramen present at the event. The footage shows the youth trying escape after attacking Sait while another video shows Sait was to his car while bleeding from his neck. Sait's condition is said to be stable. Farhan by captured by the crowd and handed over to police. He is being questioned but the reason for attack is not clear yet. Tanveer Sait is an MLA from Mysore's Narasimharaja Constituency.
