After an hour of Facebook outage, social media users had to endure temporary outage on micro-blogging website Twitter as well. The social media site suffered repeated momentary disruptions at around 8 AM on Tuesday.
Only minutes earlier, Facebook desktop version website crashed at around 6:30 AM. The website came back at around 7:25 AM, after an outage of almost an hour. While the user could access the cached feed on the mobile application, the Facebook outage had also locked them out of mobile apps linked to social media login.
Confused Facebook users took to Twitter to express their inability to log in to their favourite social media platform. According to users, the Facebook crash had locked them out of the applications which are linked to it for automatic login like Tinder, e-commerce sites, Netflix, fitness application, Instagram, etc.
Twitter, which is first site people visit during a major breakdown or news, still managed to get tweets about its own outage:
