New Delhi:

Due to slow internet connectivity, many users were finding it difficult to use Facebook Messenger but now they won’t as the leading social networking company has come up with the lighter version of its Messenger in India. The new version is said to be lighter, faster and simpler than the previous one. It is specially designed for the ones having low or average internet speeds.

The Messenger Lite works like the previous version but is under 10 MB and enables to send and receive photos, emojis and stickers faster and with ease.

The new version is designed to attract those people who have Facebook app installed in their phones but not it’s Messenger because of slow internet connectivity. According to reports, around one billion people use the Messenger across the world but with the launch of the new version, the number is expected to rise up enormously.

The lighter version will not only allow you to send photos or stickers, it will also enable its users to do voice calling. Apart from that, the users can also add or remove members from the groups like in the older version.

India is not the first country to welcome the Messenger Lite. It has already been launched in countries including Nigeria, Turkey, Japan, Peru and Vietnam. It is basically designed for those who don’t have the latest smartphones or having slow internet connections.

Earlier, the largest social networking site had also launched the lighter version of its Facebook app. Facebook knows the importance of Indian market for the enlargement of its business and henceforth they can’t simply ignore it.
