With the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry deciding to remain a closed book on their first royal baby, not much deets regarding the first ‘bundle of joy’ have flown out. However, with the baby’s arrival this spring and the due date believed to be in the coming weeks things have only gotten more tense. And though the Buckingham Palace earlier stated that they will remain private about the baby, the first details about the baby have been issued by the Buckingham Palace.
In a statement shared on Thursday morning, the Buckingham Palace said, "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby."
It further added, "Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family."
New reports have also refuted the news that Meghan and Harry have chosen Lindo Wing in west London where Kate gave birth to give birth to their baby. The reports further suggest that Meghan may even have opted for a home birth at Frogmore Cottage.
