The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to all be "delighted" for them.
Meghan, 37, had earlier sparked speculation she was pregnant when she arrived at Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday via a side door.
Just minutes after touching down in Australia, Meghan Markle further fuelled rumours she was pregnant. Dressed in a navy blue Givenchy dress, her coat was unbuttoned at her stomach and some TV viewers claimed they could see a bump.
The whispers were further fuelled when Meghan touched down in Australia earlier today, carrying two purple folders over her stomach.
Kensington Palace said there would be “no changes†to the royal tour to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand as a result of the news.
