Tamannaah Bhatia is one of the most popular and highest paid Tamil and Telegu actress and one way celebs invest their earning is by owning luxurious properties in India and abroad.Â
Tamannah is no different. The 29-year-old actress recently paid twice the current market rate for a lavish sea-view apartment in Mumbai’s Versova, according to a report. The price translates to Rs 80,778 per square foot.
According to DNA, properties barely 500 metres from the Baahubali actor’s new apartment are in the Rs 30000-40000 per square foot range but Tamannaah paid double the amount to builder Sameer Bhojwani for her apartment. The newspaper daily also has access to the property documents.

Accoding to their source, “The ready-reckoner rate for the apartment is Rs 4.56 crore and Tamannaah ‘even paid Rs 99.60 lakh as stamp duty for the registration’. The cumulative price for the 2000 sq.ft apartment is Rs 16.60 crore.
Reasoning why the actress paid such a steep price, the source said her apartment is on the 14th floor of a building named Bayview, on the Versova-Juhu link road and has a spectacular view of the sea from all four sides.Â
The building is 22 storeys high, and it offers sea view from every side of the apartment.Â
"Secondly, the actor can have interiors the way she wants in the house,†the report quoted a broker familiar with the deal as saying. He added that Tamannaah intends on spending a further Rs 2 crore on the interiors of her new home.
Recently, Aamir Khan shelled out Rs 35 crore on a ‘9,000 square feet of commercial space on SV Road in Santa Cruz West in a building called Prime Plaza‘. Alia Bhatt too recently purchased a real-estate property in Juhu on twice the going raten that she later revealed will be the office of her new production venture, Eternal Sunshine.
