It is no sheer coincidence that Anushka Sharma chose an emerald, green, Banebar saree for promoting her forthcoming film Sui Dhaaga. Her upcoming movie co-starring Varun Dhawan weaves around the weavers and artisans of the country. And in choosing the saree, claimed to have been made by the local artisans, Anushka seemed to be getting into her character in Sui Dhaaga.
The gorgeous, green Chanderi sari was made from the Katan silk with the body and motif made from Zari.
The Band Baaja Baaraat actor looked radiant as she did when she last wore a saree for her wedding reception look where she stunned everyone in a bright red and gold brocade Sabyasachi number.

This time, her green saree at the Smita Patil featured gold dots and a thick border which added an elegant appeal to her ethnic ensemble. For the award, Anushka also opted for a minimalistic look with a simple green silk blouse to her busy drape.
Her makeup was also kept minimal yet one that managed to attain a sharp look with that, glowy, dewy finish. For her eye, she opted a winged liner complimented by a nude lipstick. Her hair was pulled neatly to the back in a middle-parted bun which she finished off with a tiny green bindi.
