What are the odds of looking like one of the hottest stars in Hollywood, Brad Pitt? Slim! In this chance of ‘slim’ a man who resembles the star claims he can’t go out without people mistaking him to be the star. Nathan Meads, 33, from Oxford says he has been mistaken for the Hollywood heartthrob and is often asked for photos and autographs.
"I can't go anywhere. I can't go into shops, you see them behind the counter nudging each other, thinking I'm Brad Pitt."
Nathan however insists he can't see the resemblance for himself, "I'm not one of those lads who thinks they're really good looking.
"I've had quite a few girlfriends, but I've never thought I was one of those men that everyone fancies."
Adding that his good looks often caused a rift in his personal life, Nathan who is now separated with the mother of his child said,
"She hated that we couldn't go anywhere without girls coming up to me and asking me for photos."
His good looks however weren’t all for unfruitful attention and he is currently seeing Adiel whom he met last October on Facebook after she texted him complimenting him on his looks.
Following their date despite Adiel thinking Nathan was too good-looking to be real hit it off after he asked her out for dinner. Nursery manager Adiel, 30, loves her boyfriend taking part in meet-and-greets and insists she never gets jealous. She said, "Nathan laughs at it and so do I - it's just a shame I don't look like Angelina Jolie!"
He claims that he has had so much female attention from delighted fans that he now even answers to the name Brad with onsite friends even calling him 'Brad' or 'Bradders'.
Ever since his fame as a Brad Pitt look-alike, Nathan has had a side-career doing meet and greets as the Hollywood superstar, and has even been invited to events including the launch of footballer Rio Ferdinand's nightclub in Manchester, film premieres and celebrity parties.
He's also done some TV work and claims he’s approached by Channel 4's Big Brotherand that Paddy McGuinness asked him to appear on dating show Take Me Out.
