Fast fashion such as H&M don't usually mix with high-end fashion such as Moschino. This is because in the world of rag race, the former is the born-result of the latter. But in a twist of events that will have all the elegante raising their hands in the air H&M is collaborating with the Italian fashion powerhouse, Moschino.

Jeremy Scott the creative director of Moschino will be among the first to collaborate with H&M. The fashion designer in an interview with Vogue said that this huge leap in fashion is supposedly aimed to blur the demarcation between what is high fashion and what is pop culture. Opening the doors to a much larger audience, Jeremy Sccot’s collection will feature the best of both worlds-the streetwear H&M is known for and the luxe Moschino takes pride in.

 
The collection will also clue a lot of reference to different elements of pop culture and contemporary life starting from food packaging and SpongeBob SquarePants to Barbie.

In the interview with Vogue, Jeremy Scott also said that this collaboration with H&M will give fans all around the world the chance to wear Moschino themselves. As such, the collection which is supposedly to release on November 8 will feature a mix of influencers from all walks of life. There will be RuPaul Drag Race winner Aquaria, DJ’’s Aya and Ami and other personal friends of Scott modelling the collection.

With the innovative, colourful eccentric designs Moschino is known for, the collection features for the most part show-casts street style inspirations. From colourful fur jackets with chains of gold, Mickey Mouse sweatshirts with running pants, laced high worker boots to a worker-leather jumpsuit, the collaboration with H&M looks colourfully-Moschino and wearably H&M.

 
Since it is Moschino’s collaboration expect ornate in it! From rapper-inspired kneaded gold chains to golden peace-symbol key chains, this gold-inspired collection of Moschino with H&M will simply be gold for baroque lovers.
