When one is as stunning as Kareena Kapoor even an onion earring manages to appear chic. The star in her latest comedy outing for Good Newwz that also co-stars Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh showed up for at the Kapil Sharma Show. For the promo, Bebo wore a stunning light turquoise blue saree with a huge Bebo print in it. She pulled off the look with a light, eye-makeup and nude lipstick and at one point of the show teased the audience by wearing an onion earring, which, given the current onion crisis appears to be a fashionable gift.
Talking about wearing onions as an ornament, co-star Akshay Kumar also gifted wife Twinkle Khanna last week. To show the ‘valuable’ gift to her fans, Mrs Funnybones took to her Instagram and shared a picture of ‘onion earrings’ and wrote, “My partner returns from performing at the Kapil Sharma show and says, ‘They were showing this to Kareena, I don’t think she was too impressed, but I knew you would enjoy them so I got them for you.’ Sometimes it’s the smallest things, the silliest things that can touch your heart.”
Just few days ago, a couple got married by exchanging garlands of onions rather than the traditional flower ones to protest the recent onion price hikes.
