Jitesh Singh Deo bags Mr India 2017 title, Kangana Ranaut felicitates winners

The winners of the Mr. India 2017 were felicitated by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. 16 contestants from different parts of the country participated to bag the coveted title.

Jitesh Singh Deo who hails from Lucknow bagged the title of Peter England Mr India 2017 on Thursday in a ceremony held in Mumbai.

Jitesh was able to impress the judges with his good looks will now represent the country at Mr World 2020.

"I did not anticipate it but I had some belief in myself. The power of belief motivates you always. I was speechless when my name was announced. I was blank," Jitesh told PTI.

"Winning this title comes with lot of responsibility. The competition (Mr World) is going to be more tough. Today, I am enjoying the moment but tomorrow onwards, a new journey will begin and I have to work hard," Deo said.

 Rohit Khandelwal who made the country proud by winning Mr World 2016 was felicitated with ‘Icon Of The Year’ award. Sixteen contestants from different parts of the country participated in the event to bag the coveted title.

Abhi Khajuria and Pavan Rao were the first and second runner-ups respectively. Prathamesh Maulingkar bagged the title of Mr India Supranational 2017. 

The winners of the Mr. India 2017 were felicitated by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
