Mallika Sherawat’s 2019 Cannes look may with ease have us into believing that we are back in 2014 given how the two dresses look inarguably alike. The actor who arrived at the French Rivera for the 72nd Cannes Film Festival took us back before the red-carpet event to give us a glimpse of her first look.

For the red-carpet event, Mallika can be seen wearing a turquoise lacy gown with a keyhole neckline which she says is designed by her favourite Parisian designer Francois Joseph Graf that she finished off with a tan trench coat with colossal furs at the end of her sleeves, over the gown.

While we are not the most impressed with her choice of outfit now, one cannot help but also notice the similarity between the two lacy dress of then and now despite being from two different designers. And while her then dress was designed by Emilio Pucci, we cannot help but wonder if it the 2019 dress is the same dress of 2014 which she added a twist to, with the fake fur jacket.
