After Manushi Chillar won the coveted Miss World crown back for India, the country was waiting with bated breath for another pageant on Sunday.
It was the grand evening of Miss Universe 2017 event and the entire nation had its hopes pinned on Indian model and winner of Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2017 Shraddha Shashidhar.
Though fans across the country had put their support behind Shraddha, the diva failed to make it to the top 10 and got eliminated from this year's pageant being held in Las Vegas, US.
Top 10 finalists chosen are from the USA, Venezuela, Philippines, Canada, South Africa, Spain, Brazil, Colombia, Thailand, and Jamaica.
However, ahead of the glittering ceremony on Sunday, former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen took to Twitter to extend her support to Shraddha. Apart from this, the Indian beauty is being inundated with best wishes and messages from across the globe.

Talking about the Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2017, Shraddha was born in Chennai and did her schooling from Army Public School, Deolali, Nashik. She did her graduation from Sophia College for Women with a degree in mass media.
Apart from her academic career, the 21-year-old is a sprinter and national and state-level basketball player.
Besides, she has also made achievements in classical dancing and is a travel freak. She had earlier taught Tibetan refugees at the Lha charitable trust.
The Chennai girl had also bagged the prestigious crown of Miss TGPC South 2017 in September.
