The 68th annual Miss Universe competition recently concluded Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, United States and South Africa’s Zozibini Tunzi was crowned the winner. Amidst all the hullabaloo about the beauty pageant this year many contestant fell on the ramp during the bikini round owning o wet floor and one among them was Miss France.
However, like other ramp walkers who often loathe such moments and side it as an embarrassment, the beauty queen shared the video on her social media account an called it a lesson learned.
Miss France Maeva Coucke shared the small snippet from the preliminaries on Instagram in which she can be seen slipping on the ramp as she walks in a bikini. In the caption, she wrote, "PRELIMINARY SHOW - Last night I experienced the worst obsession of a Miss: falling on stage. So far it has never happened to me, but life sometimes gives us good as bad surprises. A lesson must be learned from each experience, and the lesson I draw from it is that falling and standing up is the very essence of a woman's life, the main thing is to move forward regardless of obstacles. If you fall 9 times raise 10 times and keep your head high! Our experiences make us grow, mature and make us stronger. I want to thank you for your messages and to reassure you I did not hurt myself. Thank you for your support, you are the best."
As Miss France tumbled, lost balance and fall down on stage, the audience started cheering her up with applauds, just to boost her confidence. Coucke without up to the moment quickly picked herself up and kept on walking down the runway with a smile on her face.
