According to Christie hand-bags, the Hermès Himalaya Birkin is crafted from Nile crocodile hide named after the actor and singer Jane Birkin, Birkin bags are famous for their exhorbitant pricing and celebrity owners.
Called the Himalaya Birkin series because of its resemblance to the majestic snowy Himalayas, the handbag is a favourite for ritzy handbag enthusiasts, such as the likes of Victoria Beckham and Kim Kardashian West. In 2017, the bag, with white gold and diamond hardware, sold at a Christie's auction for £293,000, becoming the most expensive bag ever sold.
