New Delhi:

Recently, Rihanna has caught herself in a battle head-lock locked with her dad, whom she is allegedly for using her Fenty brand to launch a business for himself. According to TMZ, a new lawsuit has been filed by the ‘This is What You Came For’ singer claiming that her father, Ronald Fenty, recently started a talent development company in 2017 called Fenty Entertainment.

The problem with Ronald’s venture for business is that daughter Rihanna has already trademarked "Fenty" to use in a number of biz ventures, including her well-known Fenty Beauty line. She claims he's profiting off the reputation she's created with Fenty including Savage X Fenty and Fenty PUMA, since 2012.

In the lawsuit, the 30-year-old singer says that her father and his partner have violated her trademark and falsely suggested that their business, Fenty Entertainment, is affiliated with her. The singer claims later that her dad even unsuccessfully tried to file a trademark for Fenty to use with resort boutique hotels.

Rihanna has asked the court to bar the firm from using the Fenty name for the business. Rihanna is suing for false designation of origin, false advertising and invasion of her rights of privacy and publicity, among other claims.

Riri also added that she has sent multiple cease and desist letters to her father, ordering him to stop capitalizing off of her Fenty trademarks, but without any answer. According to sources, Riri is now asking a judge to place an injunction on her dad using the name Fenty.

Ronald is yet to reply to the charges against him.
