21st century is witnessing a lot of drastic changes, revolutions and the best thing that’s happening to the world is acceptance. Acceptance of looks, physical attributes for which one can be mocked off at.

Proving the fact that beauty has no definition and it comes in all shapes and colours model Aamito Lagum responded the perfect way to the racists who mocked her naturally pouted lips.

The famous make up brand MAC cosmetics shared a backstage close up of Aamito, a Ugandan fashion model showing her lips at NYFW. The close up was attempted to highlight their new shade of deep purple lipstick ‘Royal Romance’.

But the picture began to receive a slew of hateful, racist comments on model’s appearance and ethnicity. Sooner MAC deleted all the hateful, bigoted comments from there posting an Instagram with the text "All ages all races all sexes."

While Lagum responded to this series of hateful comments in the perfect way. posting a headline detailing the incident with the comment “My lips giving you sleepless nights” before thanking Mac for the lipstick colour which she said she would be buying three of.

Lagum has won African modelling reality television programme in 2013. She has modelled for Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith, Bottega Veneta and H&M, she has also appeared in magazines including British Vogue and Vanity Fair.
