Nearly one year after their marriage, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli renewed their love vows as they celebrated their first Karwa Chauth. Like the thousands of married women across India who fasts the whole day and perform the traditional rituals for the longevity of their husbands, Mrs Kohli followed suit, of course with more grace.

For a day where the ethnic wear peaks, celebrated designer Sabyasachi known for his embellished bridal ensembles, can have no wrong turn. In fact, Sabyasachi is no new introduction to Virushka and it might also be one of their ethic favourites considering how the fashion label is the constant choice of the duo’s pick. We have seen them in Sabyasachi both in their engagement and the lavish wedding when Anushka wore a pale pink lehenga with Renaissance embroidery in vintage English colours embellished with silver-gold metal thread, pearls and beads.

In this picture, Anushka can be seen wearing a Sabyasachi yellow hand-printed georgette Saree with a hand embroidered silk blouse. Anushka completed the look with a pair of pearl-dangler earrings while toning it down with a barely-there makeup and loose luscious hair. The Cricket prodigy looked suave wearing a tussar georgette textured kurta with resham Kashmiri embroidery from the house of Sabyasachi.
The duo also took to social media professing their love for each other. Anushka Sharma can be seen stealing Khal Drogo and khaleesi love-lines in her Instagram post, titled “My moon, my sun, my star, my everything. Happy karva chauth to all” while Virat Kohli posted their picture captioned, “My life. My universe. Karvachauth”

Regardless of their lovey-dovey posts, the couple’s look for every occasion are irrefutably on-point!
In one of the interviews earlier, when Virat was asked about his wife, Anushka, he replied, “I have realized a lot of things in the past few years since I've been with my wife. Because she is a very spiritual person and I have sort of drifted on that path as well. She is a lovely and simple person and she is as honest as well just like I am. And that is what I love about her the most. That is my biggest attraction towards her”.
Can we all have Virat Kohli for a husband now?
