Woman in labor pain applies full face makeup, turns hospital room into a beauty parlor

This makeup artist is documenting her labor on Instagram with her complete beauty queen looks in hospital bed. New York-based makeup artist named Alaha Majid is passing her time in labor doing her favorite thing and that is makeup.

"Three weeks ago at this time I was finishing up my makeup and getting ready for my princess to make her appearance," she wrote on Instagram. "Yes, I was doing my makeup while I was in labor! I was pausing during contractions and picking up where I left off once the contractions passed."

However, it's hard to believe that Alaha has even more make-up at home. For her trip to the hospital, the expectant mom packed numerous beauty products, including mink eyelashes, a contouring kit, liquid lipsticks, a brow pomade, and a holder for her many make-up brushes.

Alaha is a well-known face on Instagram for her beautifully captivating looks. She welcomed her daughter Sofia Alaya Karimi into the world on February 15. Before sharing photos of herself doing her make-up in the hospital, Alaha first posted snapshot of herself glammed up while holding her newborn baby girl.
