Celebrity style has been a prime indicator of what we'll be wearing, buying, eating, using, and doing the entire year. We're always looking for celebrity inspiration in our style entire year to find the next It item or trend. We’ve been paying close attention to what's been popular on the streets during Fashion Month because that's what gives us a good indication of what to expect in 2019. Here are some major styles picked up by your favourite celebrities:
Check Print
There's one print that's dominating the fashion town this year, and that's checks. You'll find the design most frequently on blazers and trousers, but the detail has graduated from suit sets to asymmetrical tops and breezy skirts. Recently, Bollywood’s fashionista Sonam Kapoor stamped on this trend by wearing a checked blazer and skirt with a white turtleneck and boots. Totally a winter look we can get behind.
Beret Hats
Berets tend to have a certain style quotient connected to them. But it seems the slouchy little hat made a play for the fashion crowd this year. First, we saw Rihanna top off her outfit with a leather version on the front row at Paris Fashion Week. Then Bella Hadid tried out a similar look on the streets of New York. Now, Rita Ora, was seen earlier today in a kicky beret, styled with a distinctly punk-rock twist.

Sheer Socks
2018 was all about the fishnet sock. We have seen a lot of celebs sporting see-through socks that are meant to be seen with pumps, sneakers, or sandals with indefinite ease and panache. Style goddess, Kendall Jenner was seen pulling off this trend on the Cannes red carpet while Bollywood’s chirpy diva Taapsee Pannu was seen picking up this trend while promoting her movie Judwaa 2.
Pastel palette
2018’s red carpet events saw a throng of celebs sashaying in their best pastel shaded ensembles. Bollywood’s hot siren, Kriti Kharbanda stepped out in her best Pastel wear for an event recently with a dual-toned lehenga set that has us swooning. Jahnvi Kapoor’s Patiala Suit look in Pastel purple made us go gaga over her look.

Casual Pantsuits
Suits are professional enough for the office but suits in quirky prints and playful fabrics can take you from a dinner date to a casual day out. Take cues from BFF’s Priyanka Chopra and Meghan Markle.
While these styles can help you predict the next big need-to-know trends for 2019, go on, prepare your shopping list before stepping into the new year!
