Fashion powerhouse Tommy Hilfiger is collaborating with actor Zendaya for his next launch. After collaborating with supermodels like Gigi Hadid known as Tommy x Gigi, Hilfiger announced that his next launch will be with actor Zendaya which is slated to debut this March at the Paris Fashion Week, 2019. The actor, who had launched her first clothing line in 2013, was announced as a global ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger in October 2018. Since then, the designer and the young actor have been working together on the Tommy x Zendaya collection.

This announcement to launch Zendaya came about when Hilfiger expressed his admiration for Zendaya’s work ethic that further progressed to a partnership last year. “I love to collaborate with people who are passionate about making their dreams a reality and who inspire the next generation to do the same," Tommy Hilfiger said in a statement from the brand. “Zendaya has become a global icon, using fashion to make bold statements while always staying true to herself. Our capsule collection will fuse her eclectic style with the Americana spirit of our brand.”

The Paris show 2019 will combine the brand's "Americana heritage, Zendaya's confidence and optimism, and the city's iconic elements", according to Women's Wear Daily.
The Tommy x Zendaya Paris show will be the latest among Hilfiger’s series of fashion runways in major fashion cities. As per reports, all of the products featured in the show will be available for consumers in more than 70 countries around the world to purchase immediately after the catwalk.

Zendaya also had chains of things to say about the positive impact fashion can have while discussing her collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger. “Fashion is more than just wearing cool clothes,” said Zendaya. “It’s a way to celebrate self-expression and individuality, which is extremely empowering. This is why I am proud to partner with Tommy Hilfiger.
