Researchers discovered that lack of vitamin D is linked to coronary artery disease, heart attacks and stroke. Heart Patients are protected against health trouble if their vitamin D level is anywhere above 15 nanograms  per milliliter.

Even if any level above 15 is safe one out of 10 people still has vitamin D levels lower than that. There are various form of heart disease.

One of the most common causes of heart disease is narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries.  While other kinds of heart problems also occur to the valves in the heart, or the heart failure resulting from unwell pumping of the heart.

You can control your heart problems by

Controlling your blood pressure

Lower cholesterol

Quitting smoking

Enough physical activity

Though Vitamin D has been credited with other health properties and also been linked with combating cancer, multiple sclerosis, asthma and type 2 diabetes.
