Playing video games during breaks may help reduce work pressure at office: Study

A latest study led by a group of researchers from the University of Central Florida in the US, has found that playing video games during pass times at work will help people get rid of extreme stress and pressures and they will be back with a rather energetic mood to their work in spite of heavy load and dead lines.

The all new invention will help people who suffer from cognitive fatigue related to stress, frustration, and anxiety while working under extreme pressure at office.

The study which was conducted on a group of 66 participants, showed that people induced to cognitive fatigue at first are going through much lesser stress after taking a small break during work.

While taking breaks in the mid of work, they were advised either to play video games or chat and spend a lazy time with their smart phones and computers.

The study published in the journal named 'Human Factors' reported that, participants who have followed the suggested activity, have felt much lesser negative affect and distress than people who took a silent break during the time.

Hence playing video games during breaks is the best way to reduce stress and anxiety in the mid of extreme pressurised and tensed work environment in office.
