In her recent interview during a breast cancer awareness event on Thursday, South Indian actress and cancer survivor Gautami has encouraged patients to keep their confidence and positive vibes around as self-confidence and belief can help beating the deadly disease.
"No one can give us the strength to fight if we cannot find it within ourselves and we get the inspiration to fight from those who have fought cancer," the diva was quoted while talking about the same at the event.
Gautami is also a part of non-profit organisation Life Again Foundation and all set to arrange 'Winners Walk' on Saturday morning at 6.30 from Kalimata temple to YMCA. She urged people to participate in the awareness-driven program and appreciated Telugu film actor Balakrishna's efforts and contribution as the chairman of Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad.

"When we are alert and proactive, we will be able to detect cancer in its early stages and early stage breast cancer is curable. This is the positive message that we are trying to spread with our Life Again Foundation-Winners Walk," Gautami added further.
