The research was conducted on 183 participants who were overweight or obsess. All these 183 adults enrolled in a weight loss programme and were provided with meal replacements. The programme also involved behavioral goals which included self-monitoring, increase in physical activity and motioning of calories.
It was found out that after two years, the participants with steady weight-loss during the starting three months were able to reduce more pounds compared to those who fluctuated a lot.
