Do you remember the outlandish trick by Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe walking with 360 circle of dogs tied around his waist to avoid being mobbed by fans? Ah well, being in the limelight can be a blessing and a curse! We now know why some celebs like Daniel Day Lewis choose to maintain a low-key private life to live a normal life. Because unlike the other world of glitz and glamour they are meant to portray, behind closed-doors, celebs like all of us are just humans and that means having to wake up not pretty, messy hair, pizza piles in the tv room and so on.
Regardless of being a celebrity, personal hygiene is a necessity for everyone. Some celebs, however have a very unusual type of hygiene which, in our terms can only be defined unhygienic. So, let us look at some of our favourite celebs with terrible personal hygiene:
Robert Pattinson: The new Batman much like his muse, bats, might have a secret side he wouldn’t want us to know. Pattinson who is now one among the most demanded stars once told UK tabloid that his schedule is so hectic that he won’t wash or change clothes until “it gets to the point where even I can’t stand the air around me.”
Johnny Depp: Did the Pirates of the Caribbean makers know about Depp’s hygiene problem that deemed him the perfect fit for Caption Jack Sparrow? A source at Fox News reports that Depp and ex, Vanessa Paradis didn’t deem shower a necessity and would go for days without a shower.
Russel Crowe: His friends blame Crowe’s horrible body odour on alcohol and his love for curry, Joan Rivers, however has no problem ousting the secret. She once said in an interview, “He has a body odor problem. I prefer to sit downwind of him at showbiz bashes.”
Shailene Woodley: Apart from being a star, actress Shailene also happens to be a naturalist and that means preserving hair oil. In fact, The Fault in Our Stars actress wants her oil in the hair preserved to the point that she would even go for a month without washing the hair. How does it not look greasy, though?
Cameron Diaz: This seemingly bohemian actress like most of her onscreen roles is also a carefree bird in real life. In fact, The Mask actress once told Splash News that she wears the same outfit for four days in a row and then throws it away.
