A study was conducted by the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC) where the results have found that consumption of nuts have favourable effects on human health.
The study says that consumption of nuts has an effect on a person’s cardiovascular health and keeps cardiovascular diseases at bay.
The study is said to make a positive impact on the cashew and nuts industry globally. Pratap Nair, India’s ambassador to INC and a part of Vijaylaxmi cashew company, said, “The research and knowledge on the effects of nut consumption on human health have increased in recent years.”
The study observes that some chronic diseases are carried by low-grade inflammation which affects the development of the diseases.
The review, which describes 32 studies, is published in BMJ Open Journal.

The studies conclude that if a person includes nuts in their healthy dietary plan, they maybe less prone to cardiovascular diseases.
The study is supported by the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC) which includes more than 700 nut and dried fruit sector companies from over 70 countires.
