Chris Hemsworth, the God of Thunder is happily married to Elsa Pataky with who he shares three adorable children-Sasha Hemsworth, Tristan Hemsworth and daughter India Hemsworth. For actor not of Bollywood, naming his daughter ‘India’ is quite intriguing. Answering the question to his daughter’s name, Hemsworth, in a recent interview to IANS said, ‘“My wife spent lot of time in India and that was where the name originally came from,”
The Thor actor also went on to add how the country India has a special place in his heart. Hemsworth, who was here in India for the upcoming Netflix thriller Dhaka in Ahmedabad and Mumbai added that being on set made him feel like a rockstar. “I love the place and the people. Shooting there... There were thousands of people on the streets every day and I have never experienced that on set. It was sort of intimidating as it was exciting because there were so many people,” he said which he also shared on several social media updates from his time in India.
“After every take (when the director) called ‘cut’, there was loud cheer. We felt like rock stars in a stadium. But the warmth and support we got while shooting there, no matter how disruptive we were to their daily lives, it was so good. People were so positive. I have huge appreciation to that,” he added.
The Australian hunk after 12 months of back-to-back filming, announced that he's taking a break from Hollywood for the remainder of this year to spend more time with his wife, Elsa Pataky, 43, and their young children, India Rose, 7, Sasha and Tristan, both 5. Talking to the Sydney Daily Telegraph, Hemsworth said that he plans to spend more time in Byron Bay, the coastal town in northern New South Wales, Australia, where his family has been based for five years.
"This year I probably won't shoot anything. I just want to be at home now with my kids.
"They are at a very important age. They are still young and they are aware when I leave more than before’’ Hemsworth added.
