Game of Thrones crew are on a beard shaving spree, they must have ultimately read the study that men beard carries more bacteria than dog fur? Or maybe for an SNL debut. While fans are still recovering from Jon Snow’s ‘utter travesty’ after shaving off his Jon Snow signature beard that had many fans in tears, Khal Drogo aka Jason Momoa also just shaved off his beard and we don’t know how to feel about it.
Jason Momoa who played Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones just posted a video on Youtube showing himself shaving off his famous beard to reveal a new Khal and unlike Snow’s fans, Drogo’s fans are surprisingly happy with the new endeavour.
"Goodbye DROGO, AQUAMAN, DECLAN, BABA! I'm shaving this beast off, it's time to make a change," he wrote in the caption of the video (above). "A change for the better...for my kids, for your kids, the world. Let's make a positive change for the health of our planet. Let's clean up our oceans and our land. Join me on this journey. Let's make a switch to INFINITELY RECYCLABLE aluminum. Water in cans, NOT plastic’’ Jason posted on his Instagram handle.

I’m sorry @i.am.aurelius does not know how to spell. It’s Infinitely RECYCLABLE. Not recycleable. He’s young. And I’m working. Sorry
In the video we see Khal walking through a desert landscape just like in the HBO drama’s fictional continent, Essos before stopping to take out the weapon, an electric razor. We then see him sipping water from an aluminum can (not a plastic bottle) and then pours any excess in a reusable water bottle. He then goes on to say that he's shaving his beard to bring awareness on the negative environmental issues of plastic water bottles while urging fans to switch to recyclable aluminum instead.
He also notes that the last time he shaved was 2012. So, well, we can say that Khal’s new look is for a better cause and maybe even for a better look?
