In an attempt to get blue eyes, a woman, who goes by the name of Amber Luke was left blind for more than three weeks after receiving the eyeballs tattoo. Luke, 24, from the Central Coast, New South Wales, a body-modifier has spent $26,000 on transforming her look - undergoing an extreme body modification such as having her tongue split and earlobes stretched. In addition, Luke also has an entirety of over 200 tattoos from head to toe and has had a breast augmentation, cheek and lip fillers and pointed implants placed in her ears.
Of all the procedures, Amber - who calls herself the 'Blue Eyed White Dragon' - says the most dangerous procedure was getting blue ink injected into her eyeballs.
'I can't even begin to describe to you what the feeling was like, the best thing I can give you is once the eyeball was penetrated with the ink, it felt like
'I don't plan on getting any more body modifications that are extreme in that manner. So no more tongue splitting, no more eyeball tattooing,' she adds after the horrifying experience.
Previously speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Amber revealed she risked going permanently blind after getting blue ink injected into her eyeballs.
'The procedure for getting my eyes done was only 40 minutes,' she said.
'It was very intense and very painful. My eyes got held open while a syringe was injected into my eye four times per eye. I was blind for three weeks.'
Amber said she has 'no regrets' over her 10-year transformation.

'I'm not worried what I'm going to look like when I'm older, I understand that everyone ages and I don't think anyone will be looking too "pretty" at 70 years old,' she said.
'At the end of the day, it's the only thing I can take to my grave with me.'
Earlier this year, Amber stunned social media followers when shared a picture of herself as a 14-year-old fresh-faced schoolgirl.
