Good Friday 2020 is going to be observed on April 10, preceding the Easter Sunday, which is on April 12, 2020. Good Friday is a Christian Holiday that commemorates and remembers the crucifixion of Lord Jesus that led to his death at Calvary. The Day is observed during the pious and religious week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday that comes before the Easter Sunday. The Day is also known as Black Friday, Holi Friday and Great Friday.

Significance of Good Friday

According to the yearly Calendar, the date of Good Friday varies every year on Julian and Gregorian calendars. The day is observed with Fasting and Church Services by the Christian Community. The Good Friday is a legal holiday around the world, specifically in most western countries.
