Eminent Hindi bhajan singer Vinod Agarwal passed away in Mathura around 4 am on Monday. He was admitted to a private medical hospital in Mathura after complaining of chest pain on Sunday, family sources informed.
The 63-year-old was extremely critical and put on ventilator, a doctor said. His family members rushed from Mumbai to be by his side at the Nayati Hospital. Director of the hospital Shivani Sharma earlier said that he was extremely critical and was put on life support system.
Born in New Delhi on June 6, 1955, Agarwal was a popular bhajan singer for his imitable style of singing. He settled in Vrindavan for his devotion towards Lord Krishna.

He has to his credit more than 1,500 live programmes across the country and had held shows in Singapore, Italy, Britain, Switzerland, France, Germany, Canada, Ireland and Dubai.
