Raksha Bandhan, or simply known as Rakhi, celebrates the loving bond between brothers and sisters across the nation. The auspicious day, which falls on August 26 this year, witnesses sisters tying rakhis on the wrist of their brothers while praying for their long life and prosperity. In turn, the brother vows to protect his sister from any kind of trouble throughout his life. To make the festival even more exciting, siblings exchange sweets, chocolates and present gifts to each other.
