With most Indians not allowed to step out of the house due to the coronavirus lockdown, it seems things are getting a bit 'steamy'. According to Pornhub, one of the biggest adult entertainment websites in the world, Indians have been increasingly accessing the website since the lockdown. The latest data released by Pornhub on April 2 reveals that India is its fastest-growing market during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Indiatimes, the latest Pornhub data also shows that there have been more than 15 million searches for 'Corona' or 'COVID' in recent times on the website.

The surge in traffic from India seems to been helped by the fact that the lockdown coincided with Pornhub's announcement to provide a month's worth of access to its "Premium" account for free. As a token of support during these 'tough times, Pornhub has been providing a month's worth of access to its 'Premium' account for free, across countries.

According to the data shared by Pornhub, traffic from India has been rising ever since the lockdown was announced. The website saw an increase of 23 per cent in traffic from India on March 24. The maximum increase was recorded on March 27 with 95.3 percent rise in users from India. Incidently, the Pornhub website is officially blocked in India. The Indian government had banned as many as 827 porn websites in 2018 after an order from the Uttarakhand High Court. About 91% of users in India access the website from their mobile phones.
