Embarrassing question answered! Here’s why you fart during sex

Give a shootout if you have farted during sex! Pretty much every one involved in copulation. It can be embarrassing yes, but it is normal so why it is sometimes a mood buster? Well, there is a science involved in queefing or the unusual sound that happens during the time we want it to least happen, sex. Because as much as it is a normal topic, the sound is not welcomed with normalcy by some and can be seen as a mood buster while also leaving the other humiliated.

So, what is the reason behind sex fart and does it happen? Known as farting during sex or queefing, anyone with a vagina will tell you, can happen not just during sex, it also happens in the middle of a yoga class or during a visit to the gynecologist. It happens for different reasons depending on whether you’ve got a penis or a vagina. Women who fart while being penetrated will probably do so because of pressure on her anus or her stomach. In such a case, that is, if you want to ignore the awkward moment, experimenting with different positions might help. Sheery A. Ross, an an OB-GYN in Santa Monica, California told HuffPost, “Queefing happens when a penis, fingers or sex toy go in and out of the vagina bringing additional air along with it. “Sex can involve a lot of thrusting of the penis in and out of the vagina, typically pushing extra air into a dead-end space.”

So, then how can we stop farting during sex or queefing? The anser is pretty much the same as how do we stop ourselves from burping or farting because there isn’t much one can do.

 “If you try to contract the vaginal canal to prevent air from coming in, it can cause sex to be more painful’’ an OB-GYN Sheila Loanzon told Cosmo magazine.

Unlike farting or burping, farthing during sex cannot behold back. But, if you really feel it is killing the mood in your sex life, you can try; going to the loo before sex taking an anti gas medication, eating fewer gas promoting foods, like beans, caulifower and cabbage avoid fizzy drinks which can up the building of sex.
