Fake it or say it, everyone has their dirty own secret when it comes to fantasising about someone else's sex life\drive. The secret of our bedroom is not so private anymore, because a new study is here to open the doors to the privy room for all to see and in the most obvious of places-the face. A new study from Steven Arnocky at Nipissing University in Canada claims to reveal the other person’s sex drive by looking at their face.
The scientists who are keen to find new ways to point out the steamy affair of the regulars and the ones that do it once a year analysed the face width to face height ratio of 456 male and female participants who were in romantic relationships, then looked into the relationship between the shapes of people’s faces and their sex lives.
They found that both men and women with a higher face width to face height ratio (FWHDR), meaning they had a rounder, wider face, reported having a higher sex drive, and, thus, more sex, than those with narrower, longer faces.
The reason for people with moon, round faces having higher sex drive? The researchers believe this is due to variations in hormone levels during developmental periods, such as puberty, as hormones can affect the shape of the face and people’s adult sexual desires. And this finding is not just put down in words, the researchers who did a follow-up on the participant sex drives and also found that men with rounder faces also tended to be more easygoing when it comes to casual sex, and would also be more likely to consider being unfaithful to their partners.
But before you decide to ghost\stand up on your date just because he\she has round face, keep in mind that round faces are not necessarily destined to cheat. The study is, but, based on one study on a relatively small group of people.
