KL Rahul's personal life has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Speculations were rife that the Indian cricketer was dating Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt's best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. It was also reported that Akanksha recently introduced the cricketer to the Gully Boy star and her beau Ranbir Kapoor. Amidst these sepculations, KL Rahul finally addressed his relationship status in an interview to with Bombay Times.
"Oh, all these things have been written about? I don’t really read the papers, so I don’t know what has been written about me. I have learned to keep my personal life personal and not make it a thing to talk about. I am committed to cricket right now," he said. He was also asked if he was single or not, to which he responded saying, "I don’t really know. When I figure that out, I will give you a call and tell you."

Interestingly, KL Rahul was earlier linked to Suneil Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty, who happens to be a good friend of Akansha. Rahul has also been linked to Niddhi Agerwal, who rubbished the reports and said that he was just a good friend.

She had said, ''Yes, I did go out on dinner with Rahul. I and Rahul go back a long way. We have known each other since our teenage years before Rahul became a cricketer and I became an actress. Though we did not go to the same college in Bangalore, we have known each other for long."
On the work front, Rahul is currently in West Indies for the ongoing series. India have already won the ODI and the T20I series and are now preparing for the two-match Test series.
