A man has been branded a ‘psychopath’ for proposing to girlfriend in a terrifying staged gun-point arrest. Dangerous proposals seem to be on the climb over the recent years. From a staged kidnapping to stopping plane midway pretending to lose control of the plane and now this? Assembling a group of 'armed officers' grabbing the couple out of the vehicle, smashing their heads on the bonnet and pointing guns at their heads? We rather much prefer the flower petals, candle-lit dinners and tear-jerking speeches than this sort of life-draining proposals.
A marriage proposal that is going viral in Russia last week shows the tarrying duo dragged out in a hostage situation with masked gunman, slammed on the bonnet of the car, shouted at and the bribe-to-be being dragged from her car until we are revealed that all this is a ploy into proposing the girlfriend.

While the video luckily turned out to be just a terrible proposal idea with a happy ending, tweeple are not very keen on clapping their hands. The video has in fact been dubbed ‘fucking nuts’, with some even called the boyfriend a ‘psychopath’ while others called it the ‘worst proposal ever’, and wondered whether the guy was trying to ‘scare her into agreeing’.
The clip has been viewed over three million times on Twitter where web users have deemed it the worst wedding proposal ever.
