Ladies time to turn the wheels of a romantic relationship because according to a study, men prefer their bromances over romances. A study published by the Men and Masculinities have stated that young men get more emotional satisfaction out of ‘bromances’ than a romance with women. According to the study, the surge in these relationships are heightening because intimate male relationships have become more socially acceptable in recent years. They stated that since the 20th century, homophobic sentiments and changing ideals of what masculinity should look like have changed for the better.
Movies such as The Hangover, Superbad, Harold and Kumar goes to White Castle shows how strong the bonds of a bromance can be.
The researchers have cautioned that this increase in bromances could lead to weaker bonds among dating or married couples, or even reduce the likelihood of men and women pairing up at all.

An experiment was conducted to see how men reacted to this new relationship theory and how many are in support of bromance. The participants in the study admitted to being much more comfortable with their buddy.
99% of the participants involved in the study also stated that they have at least one 'brother' to whom they can be totally open to. They also claimed that it is easier for them to express their affection to a male friend than their female partner. The general consensus given to this theory was that men feel less judged in front of their guy friends in comparison to their girlfriends or wives. They are all for the bro over bae code!

One participant in his interview stated “Lovers are temporary, a bromance can last a lifetime.”
