Valentine’s Day is here and lovers from all across the globe will put on their thinking caps to create beautiful memories and surprises for their other halfs. We will also be seeing a lot of, the obvious, ‘bed of roses’, ‘heart-shaped’ balloons, romantic date in a fancy hotel and so on. This valentine’s day, step over the mundane, the passé by doing something small yet beautiful to make this day extra special:
Make your date ‘natural’: By natural we mean, outdoors. Escape the urban sprawl by taking your valentine’s outdoors. Why should star-gazing be only seen in Adam Shankman movies?
Relive the memory of the first spark: Relationships like ‘fire’ need constant care and hard-work to survive. Relive the moment you knew he/she was the one for you by taking her/him to the place you first laid eyes on each other. Spread open a woozy mat, open a bottle of champagne and giggle away the memories.
Partake in his/her hobby that you hate: Compromises and compromises are what relationships are all about. On valentine’s however, do it rather as a gesture rather than a comprise which may even mean going on a brewery tour, video game marathon, or collecting old stamps that are utterly useless to you.
Surprise him with an all-boys-night out: While women for the most part share her happenings in life to a friend, men tend to hold back. Planning a date for him not with you but with the boys will make him realise you value his friends and relationship as much as he values yours.
Go on a spontaneous roundtrip: In case both of your have been fighting over which place to visit next, Valentine’s Day it the day to resolve the differences. Take the wheels and hit the roads, sometimes, the best experiences or memories are the ones ‘unplanned’.
