Women lose interest in sex with their partner within a year of relationship: Study

A study has revealed that women lose their interest in having sex with their partner after a year of staying together.

The study indicated that women who are in longer relationships have four times more chance of losing the desire to have sex when compared to those with shorter relationships.

The research suggested that men. don't lose their sexual interest over a period of time.

Southampton University conducted the study on the basis of answers from 11,508 participants. The study revealed that 34 percent women had said that lost interest in sex when compared with 15 percent men who said the same.

The research also suggested that both women and men faced the risk of losing interest in case of forced sex. Other reasons which killed the desire to have sex included poor physical and mental health or if the partner has STD.

The study indicated that women lose their passion when they have three or more partners within a year.
