Ooo lala, the Parisien’s lifestyle of delicious strudels, fine wines and the ever-camera ready romantic get-aways has been ranked the best. The ranking determined by the Kälin and Kochenov’s Quality of Nationality Index (QNI) listed France in the top followed by Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark. According to the QNI, France scored an outstanding 83.5% out of a 100% with Germany and the Netherlands tailing just behind at 82.8%. Other top countries in the list include Iceland at (81.4%), Finland (81.2%), Italy (80.7%), the UK (80.3%), Ireland (80.2%), and Spain (80.0%).
The factors of France stealing the top stop for the eighth time in a row includes the external value of a nationality, its influence in offering opportunities to outsiders in addition to welfare, education, healthcare and life chances, as well as global travel and settlement.
European Union countries dominate the top of the index, “largely due to the liberal degree of settlement freedom permitted between member states, as well as the stand-out quality of many of the nationalities in and of themselves,” according to Henley & Partners, which publishes the index.
