As one of the most successful drama series, Game of Thrones, ever since its first season, has kept fans hanging on the edge. A drama-turned-series of George RR Martin, Game of Thrones has dreamlike landscapes of unimaginable beauty in the fictional real-life world of Westeros. The advancements of CGI’s combined with the unimaginable, profound graphics skills has made turning anything to everything an easy feat. With technology, it has become easy to turn a man wearing a blue suit into a furry-talking-monkey or a mouse into a Cinderella chariot. Which is why amidst all the hullabaloos of technology, a real-place screening with a real-life adventure is worth all the praise and the visit.

These are the real-life places in Games of Thrones you can visit:

King’s Landing- Dubrovnik, Croatia
In a political-knit continent of Westeros, you got to start with King’s Landing. The capital of the Seven Kingdoms, ruled by an ironclad evil wit and charm by Queen Cersei, Dubrovnik in Croatia has all the views-in-making of Westeros.  With its narrow-cobbled streets, ornate staircases, Renaissance squares and medieval fortified city walls, Dubrovnik’s Old Town is also home to the Iron Throne located in the Great Hall of the Red Keep.

Winterfell- Doune Castle, Scotland
It is a said fact that Scotland has one of the most mesmerising landscapes in the world. And now it has Winterfell too. Jon Snow of House Stark stole a whole lot of fans with this real-life Winterfell, Scotland. To make clear how Doune Castle fits into the freezing world Winterfell, how about the scene where Bran Stark cheats death with his impossible fall. Clearer now?

The Water Gardens of Dorne - The Alcazar, Seville, Spain
A Moorish place of Prince Doran Martell, the Water Gardens of Dorne is known for the scene where Myecella, Cersei Lanister’s daughter was sent to the House of Martell. And fans get a glimpse of the Moorish garden when Jaime Lannister and Bronn attempts to rescue Myrcella. The Garden is impossibly stupendous with its Alcazar’s Mudéjar architecture, lush green gardens, arcade pavilions, Moorish arches, and gilded ceilings.

Vaes Dothrak- Mourne Mountains, Northern Ireland
You got to admit you wiped a silent tear when Khal Drogo, "My Suns and Stars" slowly faded in the arms of Khaleesi. His death takes fans back to the place when Khal Drogo travels east with his new bride, Daenerys aka Khaleesi. Eagle eyed fans will notice the Mourne Mountains as the entourage of Khal Drogo passed under the bronze Horse Gate to Vaes Dothrak.

Jon and Ygritte’s Love Cavern- Grjótagjá, Iceland
Fictional characters turned real-life husband and wife, what could get more romantic? A chastity oath-taken guard of The North falling in love with a Wilding, the love story of Jon and Ygritte is as romantic as iconic! You can now take a dive at the deep-blue thermal bath of Jon and Ygritte and who knows what luck the love-water can give you!

The Great Sept of Baelor- Fort Maoel, Malta
Fans of House Stark will remember the most heart-excruciating pain in the whole series when the deck of cards of House Stark started crumbling with the beheading of Lord Stark. Serving as the Great Sept of Baelor, King’s Landing’s religious headquarters the fort also witnesses the avenging Arya Stark-in-the marking.
