Taj Mahotsav is one of the most-awaited festivals which is held every year at Shilpgram in Agra. This year, the festival began on 18 February, 2020 and will conclude on February 27. The 10-day-long carnival provides an exciting platform to music, dance, art, culture and cuisines of India.

History of Taj Mahotsav: Taj Mahotsav is being organised every year since 1992. The major attractions of this 10-day-long festival are the performances, fairs and food. The festival helps to promote country's rich art and craft, culture, cuisine, dance and music. Artists from several parts of India participate in the various cultural programs of this festival held in the evenings. The several stalls of unique paintings, jewelry, dresses and show pieces provide wide options to visitors for shopping. 

Entry Fee at Taj Mahotsav: For adults, the entry fee is Rs 50. Children up to 5 years and foreign tourists will not be charged any entry fee. In case, a group of 100 students want to visit Taj Mahotsav, Rs 500 is charged with complimentary entry for two teachers. Entry tickets are available at any of the entry gate to the Mahotsav.
