In fact, it doesn’t come much as a surprise that the country sees over millions and millions of foreign tourists flocking into the country every year including tourists from the Hollywood sphere. In the recent past we have seen Hollywood stars such as ‘Mission Impossible’ star Tom Cruise posing for a perfect click in the seven wonders of the world-The Taj Mahal or Richard Gere sitting with a group of Tibetan Buddhists at the Gelugpa School as a regular tourist in the beautiful state of Sikkim and the recent venture of Ant-Man and the Wasp star Evangeline Lilly who surprised her fans by posting a series of touristy photographs from around the monuments in Delhi.

Delhi: The capital of the country also sees the greatest number of visits by Hollywood celebs. Among the many stars that has strode the nation’s capital include stars like Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Richard, Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood and the recent visit by Evangeline Lilly among others.
Mumbai: Recognized as the place of tinsel towners, it only makes sense for tinsel towners from the west to take refuge in this city of Maharashtra. Be it for a shoot or a visit, the city on India’s west coast attracts celebs from near and far alike.
Rajasthan, Udaipur: If you are on a mission to pump into some Hollywood stars, Udaipur is the place to go to. Set around a series of artificial with lavish royal residences and palaces, few celebs that has checked Udaipur as a favourite include Nicole Kidman, Madonna, Elizabeth Hurley who chose the Ummaid Bhavan palace, Katy Perry who also had a traditional Hindu ceremony at a resort near Ranthambore Tiger Reserve with then husband Russell Brand, and who can forget the 2018 wedding of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.
Goa: This western state in India is not just as go-to destination for mainlanders but also a favourite among the Hollywood stars. Just to name a few, the names include Robert De Niro, Susan Sarandon, Angelina Jolie and then husband Brad Pitt, Thor star Chris Hemsworth and his buddy and fellow co-star Matt Damon who were seen enjoying bike rides in the street of Goa.
However, that is not to say that only the above-mentioned states make entry into the list of the place celebrities like to mostly visit. Places such as Sikkim and Himachal Pradesh monasteries have also become a place of spiritual visit that is gaining poplulaity among Hollywood stars.
